City of Mesa assures customers concerning water quality

With recent concerns rising nation-wide over the safety and quality of municipal water systems, the City of Mesa wants residents to know they can feel confident about their water whenever they turn on the tap.
“Mesa issues a water quality Consumer Confidence Report every year, but many people don’t know this valuable information is out there,” Water Quality Supervisor Ken Marshall said. “We want our customers to be assured that the quality of water they receive meets every state and federal standard. . .
Residents should know the value of the water they use every day,” Water Resources Department Director Dan Cleavenger said. “The City invests millions of dollars in water infrastructure and has inspectors, analysts, chemists, microbiologists, and water treatment professionals working around-the-clock to keep our system performing at optimum levels.”
