Just a coincidence or not? "Soles of Phoenix" or a flat-footed PR foul using artists?
Here's one story about the 8 foot-tall Gigantic sneakers where artists received a small stipend that was published recently in Phoenix New Times written by Lynn Trimble who describes herself as "an award-winning freelance writer and photographer specializing in arts and culture, including visual and performing arts"
Sneaker Art? Or Sneaker something' else?
". . . Artists got a small stipend for their work, and money to cover materials. They developed their own designs and incorporated elements that reference Suns-related themes. Before artists started painting, the Suns approved the designs. . . "

WHAT IS IT? 2 new 7-story buildings - watch for some details

Chinese-Made 'Electric Fan' 3D Images Wow Social Media

A video of an "electric fan" that can produce 3D images has wowed netizens around the world on the social media. The electric fan is actually a holographic 3D screen invented by a Chinese company in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province. The company's CEO and head of research and development, Zhou Quan, is a recent graduate of Southeast University in Nanjing. The smart holographic 3D screen has four LED bars that make it look like a fan. As the bars rotate, they produce 3D images which can be seen by the naked eye, according to Zhou.

October 19, 2017: The Orionids is an annual meteor shower that is caused by debris left behind by Halley’s Comet burning up in Earth’s atmosphere.
“The shower will produce somewhere between 10 and 20 meteors per hour,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist and Astronomy Blogger Dave Samuhel said.
“The best viewing in the Northern Hemisphere will be after midnight,“ Samuhel added.
This year will be a particularly good year for viewing the Orionids as the peak of the shower falls just days after the new moon, meaning there will be little natural light pollution for the shower to compete with.
