The single-aisle plane, a favorite of budget carriers, bankrolled a decade of losses for the 787 Dreamliner and a more recent stock-buyback spree of $38 billion -- an amount equivalent to Ford Motor Co.’s market value. Interesting to note that there were only sketchy details in the Meeting Details for Item 5-b on this City Council Agenda that were posted here on this blog well before this early morning study session.
It was noted that the parcel of land the city wants to seize after negotiations with the present owner were not successful, is located across from Lehi Road, south of 202 and north of McKellips.
As if expecting a request for more information and details, both the City Engineer and another person appear take their seats at the microphone for a discussion where City Manager steps in, looking to screen left for assurances, and . . .

Comedian Volodymyr Zelensky has secured an impressive victory against incumbent president Petro Poroshenko in Sunday’s run-off, the first official results confirm.
The 41-year-old showman secured over 73 percent of the vote, the Central Election Commission’s latest data shows, with 75 percent of the ballots counted. Poroshenko only managed to rake up a bit over 24 percent of support in the second round of the presidential race, as Ukrainians overwhelmingly turned away from his policies, which have perpetuated the war in Donbass and plunged millions into poverty.
