Fauci tells kids he flew to North Pole and VACCINATED SANTA in Covid-19 advisory on Sesame Street

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been known to change his expert opinions on Covid-19 topics, such as whether to wear a mask, but his statements on Santa’s readiness for a pandemic Christmas took a head-scratching, jarring turn on Saturday

Appearing on CNN’s ‘Sesame Street Special’, the mainstream media’s favorite Covid-19 authority was asked by children how Santa Claus would be able to visit their houses amid the pandemic.

“I took care of that for you because I was worried that you’d all be upset," Fauci responded. “So what I did a little while ago, I took a trip up there to the North Pole. I went there, and I vaccinated Santa Claus myself. I measured his level of immunity, and he’s good to go.”

The message might have sounded reassuring, except Fauci himself said just a few weeks ago that Santa wouldn’t need a vaccine. “Santa is exempt from this because Santa, of all his good qualities, has a lot of good innate immunity,” Fauci told USA Today.

The apparent flip-flop left some on Twitter to wonder whether a ‘conspiracy’ was afoot. Even without the conflicting statements, the North Pole trip sounded far-fetched, given the travel restrictions imposed in Washington.

“What is he hiding, and why is he lying?” podcast host Stephen Miller asked. Another commenter was similarly puzzled: “Not to get picky, but didn’t Fauci already say Santa was immune? It just doesn’t feel like we are following the science.”

Others suggested Fauci might be giving false hope to the children of parents who won’t be able to afford presents this year because of the financially devastating Covid-19 lockdowns that he and other public health officials recommended. Coronavirus data analyst Justin Hart quipped that “of all the fictions Fauci has conjured up,” his Santa-vaccination tale is the “most believable.”

. . .But Fauci isn’t the only star of the US political establishment to stage an arguably creepy Santa-themed propaganda pitch this week. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer held a Zoom call with Santa – apparently before Fauci arrived at the North Pole with his syringe – to show children asking scripted, Covid-19 questions. The key takeaway was: Stay home, call your grandparents and other relatives, but don’t have Christmas gatherings.

“This year has to look a little bit different so we can stay safe,” Whitmer said.

CLUE-LESS ON COVID-19? . . There are Consequences

Last Monday the Mesa City Council took some small steps in a very small segment (amateur and youth sports) of the population impacted by an alarming increase of COVID-19 infections.

 

After 9 months of a massive ever-present everywhere Pandemic, the conservative Republican city government of the third largest city in the State of Arizona has failed miserably to reduce the serious risks to the entire population.

What doesn't Hizzoner John Giles or City Manager Chris Brady NOT GET when the data is very clear:

As of Sunday morning, there have been at least 450,807 cases and 7,956 deaths in Arizona since the beginning of the pandemic, according to a New York Times database.

 

> At least 137 new coronavirus deaths and 6,769 new cases were reported in Arizona on Dec. 19.

> Over the past week, there has been an average of 6,450 cases per day, an increase of 18 percent from the average two weeks earlier.

About this data

Currently hospitalized is the number of patients with Covid-19 reported by the state to be in a hospital on that day. Dips and spikes could be due to inconsistent reporting by hospitals. Tests represent the number of individual P.C.R. viral test specimens reported tested that day.

If the previous level of testing was low, and hospitalizations are not increasing, a rise in daily cases could be explained as a result of increased testing. If daily tests have been increased and cases and hospitalizations have fallen or stayed low, that is a sign that the situation is improving or under control. Hospitalizations and deaths usually lag behind new cases, as it takes time for symptoms to develop and worsen

Legal battle begins after Maricopa County REFUSES to conduct forensic audit of Dominion voting machines ordered by Arizona senate

"Arizona’s Republican Party has accused Democrats of undermining efforts at election transparency after Maricopa County announced it would challenge ballot and voting machine audits ordered by the state senate."

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has refused to comply with two subpoenas issued by the state’s Senate Judiciary Committee, instead voting 4-1 to challenge the directives in court.

Eddie Farnsworth, (Arizona State Senate representing District 12), the Republican chairman of the Senate committee, issued the two orders on Tuesday.

One subpoena called for a scanned ballot audit, while the other asked for a “full forensic audit of ballot tabulation equipment, the software for that equipment, and the election management system” used in the 2020 presidential contest.

The county was given until Friday, November 19 to hand in the requested information, which included digital images of every mail-in ballot, along with a list of logs and reports from Dominion tabulation machines. 

In their legal complaint, the county supervisors allege that the state Senate has no right to demand such data, arguing that the subpoenas violate Arizona laws for ballot secrecy. They also alleged they had insufficient time to comply with the subpoenas. 

Filed in Maricopa County Superior Court on Friday, the challenge accuses Farnsworth of a “draconian abuse of power in an attempt to obtain the personal information of voters, voting records, ballots, and tabulation machines.”

The county supervisors asked the court to “quash” the subpoenas and declare them unlawful. 

The move was met with a series of seething tweets fired off by the Arizona Republican Party. Using the hashtag “#HoldTheLine,” the state’s GOP suggested that county officials feared a full audit because they had something to hide.

In another message, the political party claimed their Democratic foes were “desperate to keep everything about the 2020 Election in the DARK! Arizona Republican leaders must rise up and shine the LIGHT!”

The group also pointed out that it was illogical for the county to argue it didn’t have enough time to conduct the audits if it thought they were unlawful. Insisting that Maricopa officials “don’t want a forensic audit” the Arizona GOP urged Republicans to “put an end to this nonsense” and “FIGHT FOR FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS.”

The legal battle is one of countless cases that have gone before state and federal courts involving the 2020 election results.

The senate-issued subpoenas coincided with the release of a preliminary audit report, ordered by a Michigan judge, that claimed Dominion systems are “intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.”

The explosive findings seemed to support President Donald Trump’s claim of widespread voter fraud involving Dominion machines. However, in testimony before the Michigan Senate’s Oversight Committee on Tuesday, Dominion CEO John Poulos claimed the audit was “severely flawed” and the allegations were “categorically false and technically incomprehensible.”

Maricopa County also uses Dominion systems, but insists the machines have been rigorously tested, and meet all state and federal guidelines. Biden won the county, which includes Phoenix, paving the way for a narrow victory in the traditionally red state.

Biden was certified as president-elect by the Electoral College on Monday, but Trump and his allies continue to insist the election results are illegitimate due to widespread fraud.
