Let's see if we're getting off to a new start this new year where the public, residents and voters who live here care enough to engage and participate in how civic government works and how our elected officials fulfill their public obligations to serve and represent their constituents who live in all six districts.

As part of each meeting agenda, action may be taken on: zoning matters, awarding of contracts to purchase equipment, supplies or for construction improvements within the City, liquor license applications, ordinances, and resolutions.
PLEASE NOTE: During meetings, citizens may address the council on items pertaining to the agenda.
Citizens are provided an opportunity to address the Council on any issue under an agenda item titled "Items from Citizens Present."  This item appears on the agenda of every regular Monday Council meeting and Thursday Study Session.  Blue Speaker/Comment cards are available for those who wish to comment.  Or, you may download a copy of the comment card [PDF] and hand it in during the meeting.
A maximum of three individual speakers is allowed at each meeting, and each speaker is allowed three minutes.
Note:  Because of the Open Meeting Law, the Council cannot take action on any item brought up by a citizen at the meeting, but may refer items for further study and follow-up.

Title: Approving and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Airport Development Reimbursable Grant Agreement with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Multimodal Planning Division Aeronautics Group for the construction of runway and taxiway lighting and signage improvements at Falcon Field Airport.  The total estimated cost for this project is $2,006,934, with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) paying 91.06% ($1,827,514). 
Funding for the remaining 8.94% ($179,420) is shared between ADOT ($89,710) and the City ($89,710). 

The City’s portion is funded from the Falcon Field Airport Enterprise Fund. (District 5)
