Where's the leadership here inside City Hall for inclusive Civil Rights for everyone when there's a vacuum 'at-the-top' - the Mayor's Office?
John Giles has certainly paid "lip-service" to ending gender bias and discrimination, but never anything more except a pledge, like the good boy scout he might be listening to another master - his group of faith-based constituents that he cannot betray or break away from without jeopardizing his political base or future in politics. It's time for him to stand up on the home base of a diverse inclusive population of close to 500,000 people and do what's right..

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court announced on Monday that it would decide whether the Civil Rights Act of 1964 guarantees protections from workplace discrimination to gay and transgender people in three cases expected to provide the first indication of how the court’s new conservative majority will approach L.G.B.T. rights.
