The winners of the third-annual Government Experience Awards, conducted by the Center for Digital Government,* stand out for their efforts to utilize government technology resources at a higher level, with mature implementations driving deeper and more impactful citizen engagements.
This year’s innovaiton awards winners all stood out for their efforts to take citizen-facing IT to a higher level. “In each case they are tackling more complex issues related to the government experience,” said Dustin Haisler. “They are going beyond just using social media to create coordinated campaigns. They are leveraging data in real time. They are benchmarking in order to drive specific behaviors. All of that suggests a much more sophisticated approach to citizen needs.”
