Mesa Council Study Session Mon 01.11.2021 Remote Zoom > CITY'S RESPONSE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

There were a few opening remarks by Hizzoner John Giles to start off the 4 p.m. session where all six district representatives appeared on remote screens. Action then shifted to The Lower Chambers for the Pledge of Allegiance where City Manager Chris Brady was ready to stage-manage a cast of characters who all provided scripted commentaries for 38 Power-Point Slides.
AT NO TIME WAS THE GRIM MILESTONE OF CONFIRMED CASES OR DEATHS NOTED
We simply do not know at this point-in-time what the data is for each district or overall citywide.
In general The State of Arizona right now has the highest rates of transmission in the entire nation:
10 June 2020
> Confirmed Cases 28,296
> Deaths 1,706
09 January 2021
> Confirmed Cases 600,000
> Deaths 10,000
