Hizzoner John Giles is almost audible as the presiding officer showing a complete personality change from the activated gung-ho performance exhibited at the long "Study Session" staged in The Lower
Chambers just two hours before. Two items were covered that were just re-hashings we saw before.
Once again the two-hour "Study Session" was an exercise in that mediocre Group-Think Mentality typical of the Mesa City Council. Can we expect more?
No more questions were raised on items on the Consent Agenda at this time, but it took Public Information Officer Kevin Christopher how many minutes to it off?
After that the City Clerk took about 4 minutes to read an online comment sent in by Terry Benelli that is certainly the best part of this session. . .
O Yeah > once again whoever was planned to give The Invocation was a no-show
City Manager Chris Brady made it a point to note the retirement of Senior City Planner Tom Ellsworth, who was praised for doing things 'behind-the-scenes' for more than 3 years for The Hawes Exchange and The Inner Loop [BIG Round of Applause]...Almost forgot to say that Randy Policar is retiring too, and that Kevin Christopher is still here.
