In the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine, Russia is significantly boosting its drone manufacturing capabilities. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on May 28, 2024, Russia plans to produce 6,000 Shahed-type drones annually at a new facility located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan. This expansion follows a contract disclosed by the hacker group Prana Network, which was initially leaked in February. The contract details a collaboration between Russia and Iran, supported by a $1.7 billion deal, partially paid in gold bars. On May 29, 2024, the US State Department approved a potential Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Sweden involving twelve UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and associated logistics and program support, with an estimated cost of up to $950 million. This addition brings the total number of American UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters sold through Foreign Military Sales to 88 aircraft, with a cumulative value of $6.145 billion.
 

On May 29, 2024, the Swedish government unveiled its 16th and largest military support program for Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. This comprehensive package, valued at over one billion euros, includes, for the first time, the ASC 890 Airborne Surveillance and Control aircraft, RB 99 (AMRAAM) missiles, and the entire fleet of Swedish PBV 302 armored personnel carriers.
 

On April 26, 2024, Colombian Army officers visited the McCrady Training Center in South Carolina. This visit aimed to observe firsthand the capabilities of this artillery system, currently deployed by the 1st Battalion of the 170th Field Artillery Regiment of the U.S. Army, which uses the M109A6 model. Unmanned Defense Systems (UDS), a Lithuanian company at the forefront of advanced swarm detection technology, has secured €3.2 million in funding to expand its operations and enhance its AI-driven drone systems. Announced on May 24, 2024, this investment will be allocated to expanding the company’s range of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and integrating these systems with modern battlefield management systems.
 

On May 29, 2024, via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), @UkrReview announced that the UK had transferred ULTRA (Uncrewed Low-cost TRAnsport) cargo UAVs to Ukraine as part of the drone coalition. Developed by Windracers, these drones, also referred to as the "Jeep of the Skies," have not had their exact numbers disclosed. This initiative is part of the UK's UAV support program for Ukraine, valued at GBP 325 million (approximately USD 413 million).
 

On May 29, 2024, the French Minister of Defense, Sébastien Lecornu, announced that Luxembourg would contribute €5 million to the artillery coalition to fund the purchase of a CAESAR 6x6 155 self-propelled howitzer for Ukraine. According to Hardpunkt on May 30, 2024, the German company Diehl Defence plans to integrate its Iris-T SLM surface-to-air missile not only into the widely-used vertical launch system Mk41 by Lockheed Martin but also onto the "Baden-Württemberg"-class frigates of the German Navy. On May 29, 2024, Wisconsin-based Oshkosh Defense announced that it had won a substantial contract to supply medium tactical vehicles to the U.S. Army. The $108.9 million contract encompasses the production and delivery of the new generation of Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles A2 (FMTV A2) and corresponding trailers.
 

Sweden has confirmed the transfer of 239 vehicles, as its entire fleet of Pansarbandvagn 302 Pbv 302 armored vehicles to Ukraine as part of its 16th defense aid package. Developed in the 1960s by Hägglund & Söner, the Pbv 302 was introduced into the Swedish armed forces in 1966 and served as the primary armored personnel carrier until it retired from active service in 2014.

According to information from the Twitter account Gaza War Unit Tracker on May 27, 2024, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) could have deployed unmanned M113 "Zelda" armored personnel carriers (APCs) in Rafah. Noting their reported presence on Zaruub Hill, these remotely controlled vehicles are said to be equipped with remote-controlled weapons and can carry up to four tons of payload. This information may be plausible, given the IDF's previous known use and development of unmanned vehicles.
 

The first images of F-16s piloted by Ukrainians have surfaced, coinciding with President Zelensky's visit to Brussels. During his visit, Zelensky was able to observe the F-16s on the ground and meet with Ukrainian pilots and trainers, before being escorted by them.
 

In the United States, a factory will be established to produce 155 mm shells intended to supply the Ukrainian armed forces, as reported by the New York Times. The document states that the plant will be built in Mesquite, Texas. At the same time, the article's authors emphasize that this facility will be the first to be built from scratch by the Pentagon since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine.
