NEWS ALERT - United States Deploys Massive Apache Attack Helicopter To Romania

United States deployed massive Apache Attack Helicopter to Europe. Apache Attack Helicopters from the US Army's 1st Battalion, 3rd attack regiment land at a training ground near Cinsu in Romania after a long flight across Europe in support of Ex Noble Jump 2017.
A support convoy was there to meet them. Shots of Apaches landing and support convoy moving into position in open ground.
Earlier in March 2017, U.S. deployed similar force to Germany for combat aviation brigade training.

Dave has been a pilot for more than 40 years having flown a variety of aircraft.  After graduating from the Air Force Academy, he attended Air Force pilot training at the site of APS’s Arizona facility at Gateway Airport (formally Williams Air Force Base).  Graduating near the top of his class he was chosen to return as an instructor pilot.  He was an instructor, check airman, functional check pilot, and wing spin pilot flying the T-37, T-38, and F-5 during his tour culminating in being instructor pilot of the year.  His follow-on assignment was flying F-15 Eagles out of McChord AFB, Washington.  He later transitioned to the C-141 at McChord and was an aircraft commander, instructor pilot, and check airman flying worldwide missions including supporting the first Gulf War.

Notification of Federal Stay | Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Rules

Dear Interested Party,

On May 31, 2017, the Environmental Protection Agency administratively stayed the federal rules requiring new emission guidelines and New Source Performance Standards for municipal solid waste landfills in their entirety for 90 days. These federal rules were previously promulgated at 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart Cf and 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart XXX. Before the federal stay, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) amended R18-2-731 and R18-2-901 to incorporate by reference subparts Cf and XXX. ADEQ held a public comment period and hearing on these amendments and a proposed Clean Air Act Section 111(d) state plan on May 15, 2017. ADEQ appreciates the input received from stakeholders. Due to the federal stay, ADEQ has suspended work on the rule amendments and the 111(d) plan until further notice. U.S. INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN GOODS AND SERVICES April 2017

The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, through the Department of Commerce, announced today that the goods and services deficit was $47.6 billion in April, up $2.3 billion from $45.3 billion in March, revised.

April exports were $191.0 billion, $0.5 billion less than March exports. April imports were $238.6 billion, $1.9 billion more than March imports.

The April increase in the goods and services deficit reflected an increase in the goods deficit
of $2.3 billion to $68.4 billion and a decrease in the services surplus of less than $0.1 billion
to $20.8 billion.
Year-to-date, the goods and services deficit increased $22.1 billion, or 13.4 percent, from the same
period in 2016. Exports increased $44.3 billion or 6.1 percent. Imports increased $66.4 billion or 7.5 percent.
Goods by Selected Countries and Areas:
Monthly – Census Basis (Exhibit 19)

• The April figures show surpluses, in billions of dollars, with South and Central America ($2.7),Hong Kong ($2.0), Singapore ($0.9), Brazil ($0.3), and United Kingdom ($0.2).
• Deficits were recorded, in billions of dollars, with China ($32.1), European Union ($13.2), Mexico ($6.4),Germany ($5.5), Japan ($5.0), Italy ($3.0), Canada ($2.6), India ($1.6), South Korea ($1.5),Taiwan ($1.3), France ($1.2), OPEC ($1.1), and Saudi Arabia ($0.2).

   * The deficit with Italy increased $1.0 billion to $3.0 billion in April. Exports decreased
     $0.2 billion to $1.4 billion and imports increased $0.8 billion to $4.4 billion.
   * The deficit with France increased $1.0 billion to $1.2 billion in April. Exports decreased
     $0.7 billion to $2.6 billion and imports increased $0.2 billion to $3.7 billion.

Goods and Services by Selected Countries and Areas:
Quarterly – Balance of Payments Basis (Exhibit 20)

• The first quarter figures show surpluses, in billions of dollars, with South and Central America ($19.5), Hong Kong ($10.0), Brazil ($6.5), Singapore ($5.1), and United Kingdom ($3.2).
• Deficits were recorded, in billions of dollars, with China ($81.9), European Union ($24.2), Mexico ($17.7), Germany ($17.2), Japan ($14.3), Italy ($7.3), India ($6.1), South Korea ($3.8), France ($2.8), Taiwan ($2.2), Canada ($1.2), Saudi Arabia ($0.5), and OPEC ($0.2).

   * The deficit with China increased $4.2 billion to $81.9 billion in the first quarter. Exports
     increased $0.6 billion to $45.4 billion and imports increased $4.8 billion to $127.3 billion.

   * The balance with Saudi Arabia shifted from a surplus of $2.0 billion to a deficit of $0.5
     billion in the first quarter. Exports decreased $0.2 billion to $6.6 billion and imports
     increased $2.3 billion to $7.1 billion.
