Please join us to share your thoughts on the key elements of the draft Quality Development Design Guidelines.
We are continuing the process of developing citywide Design Guidelines. The main goal of this effort is to establish clear and consistent design guidance that can be utilized by residents, property owners, developers, design professionals, as well as City officials and staff when considering new development and redevelopment projects within the City.
Participate in an interactive workshop where we will review key elements of the draft Design Guidelines.

To promote quality development, the City of Mesa is creating Design Guidelines that will serve as a tool for the development community, as well as residents, business owners, city council and staff to utilize when considering the location, design, and context of new development and redevelopment within the City.

From reality TV star to occupying the highest elected office in the land in just 17 months, people everywhere got a glimpse of The Donald un-glued. The opening image is the front page of New York City's hometown newspaper . . . Take a good look at who is inserted in the Leonardo DaVinci's masterpiece. It sure looks like the deceased Arizona Senator John McCain appears in the place of Judas to the left and there are three women on the front cover - one his daughter and her husband, one his Slovenian wife, and one the sister of Eric Prince, founder of special ops private contractor Blackwater. ...or is that Liz Cheney? In the background is Ben Carson, former heart surgeon who is now in charge of HUD, Housing and Urban Development.

“I am the chosen one,” Donald Trump allowed.

Others had given the president gentle nudges toward divinity even before that. Yes, of course you need a certain kind of appalling narcissism to be comfy promoting yourself as heaven-sent in a televised press briefing and as a deity on Twitter. It’s doubly unhinged when you’re doing this as president, commander-in-chief and the man who swore on Inauguration Day to “preserve, protect and defend” the country. . .
The Trump of the past few weeks is the same disordered figure of the past several decades with, I suspect, a big dollop of something new blended in: unbridled and unmanageable panic . . . "
