    HERE'S THE OFFICIAL BIOGRAPHY

    Julie SpilsburyElected to the Mesa City Council in August of 2020, Councilmember Julie Spilsbury began her first term representing District 2 in January of 2021.

    Her term on the Council runs until January of 2025.

    A product of Mesa Public schools for her entire education, Spilsbury has been active for more than 17 years in local schools, earning an award from MPS for her volunteer work. Both of her parents were teachers, instilling in her a drive to support those who lead our children.

    Julie and her husband have been married and lived in District 2 for over 20 years and have six children.

    She attended Brigham Young University.
