The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has confirmed that over 1,300 samples of weapons and military equipment (WME) were approved for operational use in 2024, marking a significant milestone for the country's defense sector.

According to the Ministry, this achievement highlights the effectiveness and capabilities of Ukrainian defense manufacturers.

•  Nearly 75% of the approved samples are of domestic production, demonstrating the increasing reliance on locally-produced military technology.

Among the approved categories are unmanned aerial systems (UAS/UAVs), ammunition, electronic warfare (EW) and reconnaissance (ER) systems, engineering tools and devices, communication systems, and ground robotic systems. These samples cover a wide range of needs for the Ukrainian military, from enhancing reconnaissance and communication capabilities to optimizing electronic defense and countering threats.

The Ministry of Defence emphasized that this success was possible through close cooperation between the Ukrainian defense sector, local manufacturers, and international partners. . ."
