BIG Document + Presentation Dump From City of Mesa OMB

Here's some homework for residents and taxpayers here in Mesa for what is THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY BEFORE NEXT YEAR'S BUDGET GETS APPROVED:
Monday May 21 2018
Are you - people who live here and pay taxes - prepared to give the Mesa City Council a Free Pass on jacking-up the public debt more with an increase in sales taxes and hikes in fees/charges for city utilities?

Presentations & Reports
The official description from the city's webpage:
"Each year, the city's budget is developed in conjunction with residents, the Mayor and City Council, City Manager and City Employees. The result is a budget that closely matches the community's highest priorities each fiscal year."  ??????????

HUH? Now, what so-called 'Community' are they talkin' about? ... when Mayor John Giles publicly admits he's failed to engage citizens in the functions of local city government, that's a loose stretch of facts for sure.
How do statements made on the city's web page get by without any reality check?
That's way-to-easy to do when there is scant scrutiny from a dis-engaged public added to a glaring lack of oversight by citizens who live here. WAKE-UP!
