Mesa May Be Growing Fast, but . . .Who Pays? Let's Keep It Smart

Your MesaZona blogger has a bone to pick with City Manager "Scrub-The-Books" Chris Brady, shown in the image below.
The public has been shackled with over $170-Million debt in 2017 from what was under $40-Million in 2006 when he got hired as the City's Chief Executive Officer back then . . . here's how he responded when some numbers for next year's FY 2019/20 budget figures scrunched to support yet another scheme about ASU were questioned by a Mesa City Council member.
Here's an excerpt from http://www.jeremywhittaker.com on why he opposes a $120 Million ASU campus downtown asking taxpayers to approve more public debt and hiking fees/charges on utilities and services consumption to pay for it when taxpayers REJECTED IT.
$120 million handout to ASU by Mesa Mayor on middle class is just wrong
" There’s a ton of misinformation going around regarding the new downtown ASU project that I wanted to take the time to address. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this issue but not to their own facts. . . "
"The people have been misinformed and lied to constantly. As a councilmember, I personally was mocked by the city manager citing, “fake news”. The video below was posted by a Facebook group pointing out the discrepancies in the costs. I personally find these demeaning comments from the city manager unnecessary and appalling
