The government of the African country Niger is breaking off "with immediate effect" its military cooperation agreement with the United States. This move is expected to risk U.S. counter-terrorist West African operations. U.S. military and civilian staff are likely to leave Niger, where the U.S. has a major drone base. Asha Castleberry-Hernandez, a National Security and Foreign Policy Expert explained why the U.S. is getting kicked out of Niger during Monday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered.
