Italian Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, who is hosting the G-7 meeting of Finance Ministers and Central Bankers in Stresa, Italy, said he’s optimistic about reaching a deal on using frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.

He also warned about the challenges faced by the global economy, as divergences between the US and Europe are overshadowing the G-7 meeting as officials confront the prospect of less synchronized monetary policies.
