U.S. Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI), conducted an intensive military exercise on February 20, 2025, at the Camp Ethan Allen Firing Range in Vermont.  
The exercise occurred in harsh, snow-covered terrain and was part of Exercise Gothic Sentinel. 
 
This event tested the soldiers’ abilities to execute tactical maneuvers, refine battlefield communication, and improve suppressive fire techniques—all of which are critical in cold-weather combat environments.

At IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Milanion Group and Republikorp (RDI) signed a contract to supply the Indonesian Navy with 20-meter unmanned surface vessel (USV) conversions. 
 
The agreement, signed by Milanion CEO Davinder Dogra and Republikorp CEO Norman Joesoef at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), involves the delivery of an initial five USVs by integrating Milanion’s Advanced Autonomous Conversion Kit.
 

The Slovenian company Guardiaris showcases its military training systems at IDEX 2025, the defense and security exhibition in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has received Orsis T-5000M sniper rifles from Russia, marking a notable addition to the country's ground forces arsenal. 
 
These new weapons were unveiled during the second phase of the KVR military exercises "Great Prophet-19," where they were not only displayed to the media but also actively used by IRGC sniper teams for long-range shooting in mountainous terrain.

This three-year agreement is designed to enhance the operational readiness of over 400 F119 engines that have collectively surpassed 900,000 engine flight hours, while also driving cost reductions across the fleet.

On February 19, 2025, the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) KF-21-004, one of two twin-seater prototypes of the South Korean KF-21 Boramae fighter jet, conducted a test flight at Sacheon Air Base, South Korea.

This contract is set to bolster Rheinmetall's position in the logistical support sector and is valid for an initial three-year period, with potential extensions through to the end of 2029.
 

The Arleigh-Burke class guided missile destroyer, USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), departed Naval Station Mayport, Florida, on February 18, 2025, for a mission in the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations.
 
This deployment will take the ship to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR), where it will participate in various maritime security operations while strengthening regional partnerships.
