FREEDOM is an important word for the whole world
Ukrainian foreign broadcasting for audiences outside of Ukraine promotes the values of democracy, and a free society through high-quality journalistic content under a logo that embodies the very essence of Ukraine, Europe, and all the free people of the world.

Now on the territory of Ukraine, there is a struggle for the freedom of the entire civilization, which gave us a reason to call the state channel for foreign audiences the most understandable and simple word for billions of people – FREEDOM.

Ukraine is an example of the struggle for the values of freedom – our TV channel in Russian is called upon to explain this.

The word “freedom” in different languages is now synonymous with the heroic struggle of millions of citizens of both Ukraine and allied countries for democracy, human rights, the rule of law, the principles of equality against authoritarianism, dictatorship, and the usurpation of power.

The name of the channel FREEDOM is a reflection of Ukrainian leadership in protecting civilization from the barbarism of Putin or other totalitarian regimes.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not interested in the real end of the war against Ukraine and to force him to peace is necessary from a position of strength. This can be done thanks to the introduction of additional sanctions against the Russian Federation and an increase in the supply of weapons by the allies to Ukraine. About it on the air of the TV channel FREEDOM today, June 9, said Deputy Director of the National Institute for strategic studies Vyacheslav Potapenko.

“That is, it must be a balance of military and economic methods. To this day, our partners have paid more attention to economic methods and counted on instability within the Russian Federation. They underestimated military aid as a means of pressure. And the situation still looks like the Russian Federation continues the war, demonstrating in every possible way that the methods of economic pressure that Western countries carry on it are insufficient,” he said.
Russia is actively seeking support from the countries to continue the war against Ukraine.
“The Russian Federation finds partners in the person of Korea, Iran and so on and continues military operations in Ukraine. Therefore, if the West is involved in effective military support, we can count on the result that the Russian Federation will be forced to take it and then it will be possible to talk about the end of the war,” Potapenko said.
