US envoy says France can 'carve' Palestinian state out of French Riviera
The US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said that there is 'no such thing as an occupation' when it comes to the Palestinian territories, and that 'if France is really so determined to see a Palestinian state [it can] carve out a piece of the French Riviera.

- He used this phrase to criticize France's advocacy for the recognition of a Palestinian state, suggesting that if France is so determined to see a Palestinian state established, it should create one on its own territory.
- He argued that France shouldn't pressure Israel to recognize a Palestinian state, especially during a time of conflict.
