Ukraine’s defense industry is currently capable of absorbing up to $70 billion in investment, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. 

“We are ready today to leverage our capabilities [in weapons production] for an estimated $70 billion,” Zelenskyy said. 

He stressed that this figure reflects potential investment “on a global scale.”

Zelenskyy announces news about new defense packages for Ukraine

Ukraine continues to work at all levels on communication with partners, and is also working on new defense packages, and relevant news is being prepared, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“Today, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs reported on communication with our partners and all the measures in response to the ongoing brutal Russian strikes. We are working at every level. Russia must be held accountable for this war – and it will be, in every available form,” the president said in an evening address on Monday.

“We are also working on new defense packages for Ukraine – relevant announcements are being prepared,” Zelenskyy added.
