Discover the history, cultures, traditions, and artistic achievements of the Native Peoples of the Southwest in this three-session course led by experienced Heard Museum Senior Docents. Whether you’re new to Arizona or a longtime resident, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the people and cultures that have shaped our region.

Courses take place on Wednesdays between July 15 – 29, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Open to Heard Museum members and the public.

Each session concludes with a 30 – 40 minute docent-led tour of Heard Museum exhibitions and sculpture.
