Glendale Civic Center
Glendale, Arizona – The Creative Media will host the first Ani Awards- ANi stands for achievement, nationalism, and inspiration- the three banners which represent the categories that each awardee will receive. Creative Media formed ANi Awards to promote cultural diversity and recognize the arduous work and efforts of outstanding Asian Americans who continue to make a difference in the lives of many in the Grand Canyon State. Our vision is to create the best stage to award extraordinary Asian Americans while helping underserved non-profit organizations.
Mayor Jerry Weirs will be the keynote speaker and will talk about diversity. This is the first Annual ANi Awards Fundraising and their first recipient is the Abaka Foundation. Abaka Foundation is a 501c Non profit organization and a charitable organization here in Arizona. This organization mission is to celebrate the diversity of cultures and experience with the goal to bring people together in order to foster learning, understanding and compassion for all people!!! Our mission is to help spread interest and understanding of Filipino language and culture to future generations of Filipino American children as well as children from all cultural backgrounds.
The Filipinos are the largest Asian population here in Arizona and yet there is so little support to Abaka Foundation. For every donation you make to Abaka Foundation you help create exceptional kids outside the classroom.
Therefore, Help TURN THE TIDE. Help Create exceptional kids across the Valley. Please attend ANi Awards, and donate to Abaka Foundation.
