6 Arizona counties may be uninhabitable in next 30 years: Maricopa, Pinal, Cochise, Graham, and Yuma

The nonprofit ProPublica and the research firm Rhodium Group combined several metrics like rising temperatures, rainfall, economy and wildfire frequency to create the rankings. Making the 100 most at-risk are six Arizona counties: Cochise, Graham, Maricopa. and Maricopa. All are at risk for being uninhabitable in the near future, as soon as within two decades, according to the study.
