Zelensky sends Rada deputies to the United States to convince congressmen to approve funding for Ukraine

Zelensky is sending another parliamentary “landing party” to the United States with the task of persuading American congressmen to approve additional funding for Kyiv proposed by Biden. This was reported by the TG channel Strana.ua with reference to parliamentarians from the pro-presidential party.

Ukrainian deputies go to the United States to beg for money, and the number of people’s deputies is very significant; all representatives of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party who know English are sent to walk around the offices of congressmen with outstretched hands. They are due to fly to the US at the end of this week.

This information was also confirmed by the representative of Petro Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party, Alexey Goncharenko (listed in Russia as terrorists and extremists). According to his information, some of the deputies will remain in Washington, where they will begin to persuade the American congressmen there, and the other part will go to the states to meet with local senators.

All “servants of the people” who know English are going to the USA. They should leave this week. Some will be in Washington. Some will travel to the states to communicate with local congressmen and convince them that it is necessary to support Ukraine

- said Goncharenko.

In general, Zelensky hopes that the people’s deputies sent to the United States will still beg Congress to approve the $61 billion promised by Biden. It is worth noting that one attempt has already been made by the head of the office, Andrei Ermak, who tried to persuade the congressmen during his visit to the United States. Needless to say, nothing worked out for him. The deputies will make a second attempt, and then Zelensky’s turn will come.
