Ukraine's fighter pilots fly advanced F-16s for war with Russia -- Exclusive footage shared with Storyful by United24 Media, which is associated with President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office
Ukraine could receive its first F-16 combat aircraft in the summer if the current timeline for pilot and support training continues apace, Denmark’s defense minister has said.“It is difficult to set a fixed timetable for the donation of F-16 fighter jets, because there are several conditions that must be met in order for Ukraine to use the donated aircraft,” defense minister Troels Lund Poulsen said.
Poulsen added that he expected a handover some time in summer.
In addition to pilot training, he said the proper logistics and infrastructure would need to be in place in Ukraine before delivery.
