The Legacy of a Victorian era Geo-engineering Project on the conception of Space Colonization and Space Conservation. The new documentary 'TerraForma' tells the story of the remote volcanic island of Ascension, which sat smoldering for a million years entirely devoid of life, until its climate was re-engineered by process of 'terraforming', becoming a tropical paradise. It is also the story of what this transformation may mean for our planet, in a future where terraformed landscapes and human-engineered environments may come to warp our understanding of 'nature' itself.
