Trump has proposed another billionaire for the post of US ambassador to Italy.

Fertitta has made a fortune in the restaurant and hotel business, with assets estimated at $10.4 billion. He became the tenth billionaire whom Trump proposed for a post in his future administration.

Fertitta also owns the Landry’s restaurant group, which includes Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

On X, formerly Twitter, Fertitta wrote that the nomination was “an absolute honor.”
