Global observers condemn Sanae Takaichi's erroneous remarks

International observers have warned that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's recent remarks on China's Taiwan region reflect a worrying resurgence of right-wing forces and the lingering shadow of militarism in Japan. 

 

They stressed that no attempt by Takaichi or the Japanese government to defend her statements can change the fact that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory.
