Suspect shot and critically wounded by Border Patrol in Arizona had assaulted federal officer, FBI claims
The unidentified person was taken to the hospital by helicopter after an alleged attack on a federal officer 

"One person was critically injured Tuesday in Arivaca, Arizona, during a shooting involving U.S. Border Patrol after what an FBI spokesperson described as an “alleged assault on a federal officer.”
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near milepost 15 of West Arivaca Road, said. The individual, who has not been identified, was transported to a hospital in critical condition by the Santa Rita Fire District.
