Title:Three-Year Term Contract with Two Years of Renewal Options for Vehicle Rental Services for the Police Department (Citywide)
The Police Department uses rental vehicles for many purposes and has been successfully leasing from Enterprise Rent-A-Car for several years.
An evaluation committee recommends awarding the contract to the qualified proposal from Enterprise Leasing Company of Phoenix LLC, dba Enterprise Rent-A-Car, at $650,700 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5%, or the adjusted Consumer Price Index. This purchase is funded by Asset Forfeiture RICO Funds.

Subject: Extinguish a Temporary Turnaround Easement 5603 South Signal Butte Road. Council District No. 6
Purpose and Recommendation 
The purpose of this report is to consider staff’s recommendation to extinguish a temporary turnaround easement recorded in document no. 2016-0201751, records of Maricopa County, Arizona, located at 5603 South Signal Butte Road.
Discussion 
The temporary turnaround easement located on accessor parcel 304-34-003S was granted on March 29, 2016, in document no. 2016-0201751, records of Maricopa County, Arizona. 
This easement will conflict with the proposed La Mira subdivision improvements. 
The owner is requesting that the City extinguish the easement to accommodate the proposed improvements to their property

Approving and authorizing the City Manager to accept up to $480,881 from the United States Bureau of Justice Assistance through the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program FY 2020 Formula Grant. Discussion 
Grant funds may only be used for purposes directly related to the airport. This includes reimbursement for the airport’s operations expenses. 
Airport development projects may not be funded with the grant unless a subsequent agreement with the FAA authorizes the use of the funds for this purpose. 
By accepting the Grant, the City agrees to continue to employ, through December 31, 2020, at least 90 percent of the total number of individuals employed at the airport as of March 27, 2020. In addition, the City must provide quarterly reports to the FAA which identify the number of employees during each reporting period.
