It's at least a start to face some hard facts about the City of Mesa's long history of bias and excessive use-of-force by the Mesa Police Department.
The issue is accountability.
John Giles is the interlocutor and current mayor in a 140-year long line of succession where few people of color or women have been elected as mayor or City Council members.
