REMOTE ZOOM Mesa City Council Meeting Streamed Into The Lower Chambers on Tue 12.01.2020

What do we know from watching this, other than seeing a new hair-do for the person featured in this screenshot from the City of Mesa's YouTube Channel? The City Clerk got to read 2 public comments sent in online about Item 6-b - you know that one item that's up for a Public Hearing  - about "MARIJUANA PROHIBITIONS"?

BTW: There is NO CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION TODAY

City Manager Chris Brady didn't think we needed another study session before December 15th - and it was never on the City's Mesa Legistar Calendar anyway! ...and it looks like City Council will be taking about 3 weeks off until their next meeting next year!

Last time when this upload was looked at, there were only 24 views in a city of over 500,000!

That's just about about 'par-for-the-course' since no matter what the City Council says they be live-in - Citizen Participation stays persistently pathetic.

AS FAR AS WHAT WENT ON BEHIND-CLOSED DOORS IN AN EXECUTIVE SESSION WAY BACK ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2020 - We don't know > NO DETAILS WERE EVERY DISCLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Note, however, that the Phoenix City Council is MORE OPEN - they recently agreed on a $3M settlement on charges of excessive-use-of-force and in a killing by the police six months ago
