Tuesday's Study Session - almost two hours in running length - says a lot how Hizzoner John Giles and City Manager Chris Brady try to control these public meetings. Brady already has prepared four presentations and has a lot of presenters in-the-room.
The screenshot you see featured is a back-up person from ASU called upon to try to justify ONE MORE GUANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE INCREASE. I did not see an item on the published agenda for this presentation. Please check if you can find and access it . . .

That took up a lot of time - there's really NO REASON TO RUSH THIS THROUGH WITHOUT MORE INPUT FROM THE PUBLIC + A BALANCED COUNTER-MESSAGE FROM PROPONENTS OF DE-CRIMINALIZING CANNABIS ...the slide presentation is not the complete data.
ONE MORE NOTE: Happy to see some City Council members start to ask the right questions, but there's still a long way to go when they don't keep the pressure on after evasive responses.
WAY TOO MUCH "GROUP-THINK" e.g..District 2 Council member Jeremy Whittaker is the only one who is persistent and dedicated to stating uncomfortable facts
