Take a look - these are your leaders in city government presided over by Hizzoner the Mayor John Giles who is not quite functioning at peak performance yesterday afternoon right from the start.
He forgets a few things to do throughout the session held in The Upper Chambers, reminded by others that he didn't ask about public comments, but was so rushed to get the Consent Agenda approved he made the motion himself (asking if that was allowed).
4 people were in the audience:
> the Velda Rose minister who gave the Invocation,
> two people for a Proclamation and to receive an Award, and
> the City's Senior Public Information Officer Kevin Christopher to read the entire Consent Agenda from 06:30 - 10:51...
THEN a few minutes of the 7 councilmembers reporting on events attended, then finding out from City Manager Chris Brady that the next meeting is a Study Session on Thursday, September 16th.
Yep. That's all there was folks!
(Except something seemed strange as if there were bad news nobody wanted to showed they worry about)
