Can You Help Us Envision The Future? Maricopa County continues the update process of the White Tank Grand Avenue Area Plan, and we need input from everyone in the area to ensure the plan reflects the community’s vision for the future. Join Maricopa County for an in-person Community Meeting on Thursday, August 24 from 10-11:30 a.m. to learn more about the project and share your input. The meeting will include a plan overview presentation, activities to provide input, and opportunities to chat with the project team to learn more about the update process. White Tank Grand Avenue Area Plan Background: Maricopa County’s Vision 2030 supports the concept of area plans, which provide more specific and localized planning guidance for unique areas in the County. The White Tank Grand Avenue Area Plan is one of eight County Area Plans.  This 727 square mile region has experienced significant growth since adoption of the plan in 2000 and is being updated to better reflect current conditions and future aspirations for the area. The update process is designed to ensure the region is planned holistically and in coordination with the wide range of stakeholders and other interested parties in the area.
