SEEN LARGE: The Emergence of Bats

Each summer, more than 5,000 bats come to a flood-control tunnel in that area as part of their migration to Mexico.

The bats sleep in the tunnel during the day and then emerge minutes before sunset to go search for food, which is what the National Weather Service caught on their radar on Saturday.
