Russian President Vladimir Putin takes part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin wall, on the anniversary of the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941.
The new Russian Defence Minister, Andrei Belousov, is expected to join Putin.
