Meeting Agenda
The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board is composed of eleven (11) members who are residents of the Mesa, and who volunteer their services. The Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, appoints the members of the Board.
The purpose  and duties of the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board are to advise the Mesa City Council on housing, community development, social services priorities, funding, and planning across the community.

Cabinet manufacturer to locate operations in Mesa's Gateway Area

MESA AZ O2 March 2017. EuroContempo Cabinetry LLC, a European-style cabinet and materials manufacturing company, announced it will be locating a 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility on a 5.22-acre parcel in Mesa, Arizona, north of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
"EuroContempo Cabinetry will be a great addition to Mesa," Mayor John Giles said. "Their decision to locate in Mesa is a great endorsement of Mesa's business-friendly environment and the forward-thinking, public investment in the Gateway Area."
Due to EuroContempo Cabinetry's recent success and increasing orders, the company will invest more than $10 million to build this new, highly-automated manufacturing facility, which will create 40 jobs over the next three years.


The facility will be built on the south side of Ray Road east of Sossaman Road.
"EuroContempo has shown their commitment to Mesa and the Gateway area with a significant investment in this new manufacturing facility," District 6 Councilmember Kevin Thompson said. "This is a not only a win for Mesa and District 6, but for our citizens as well, as we continue to focus our efforts on creating jobs. Gateway continues to be an important asset for the region and an economic hub for our City."
