7 Adjournment.

"I do wish I had done more . . ." Hello! What are you waiting for?

Once upon a time, there was a lady who saved "wish-bones" - from turkey breasts she roasted in the oven for every holiday over many years.
She placed all the wishbones one-at-a-time on the branches of a small tree on a table and soon more wishbone were added filling all the branches with just not one wishbone for every branch but three or four more - looking more like birds roosting and getting ready to take-off and fly!
But they never did and the little tree was filled and more filled as more wishbone were added from many more wishes from all the bones for all the thoughts inside her head.
There the tree stood for many years . .
What could she have been waiting for all this time?
One day the tree began to move, glowing with multiple lights appearing from an inner source, that moved from the bottom to the top through all the branches that had grown out over time from the center.
For a while - way too long a while - she sat there and wondered . . .
What is this trying to tell me now?
You can have all the wishes you may want. DO SOMETHING

Megyn Kelly tearfully reacts to ‘Bombshell’ and the fallout of the Fox News sexual harassment scandal

As Katie Shepherd goes on to report, the uncomfortable scene comes from the recently released film “Bombshell,” but the story could have been told by many real-life women at Fox News who said former CEO Roger Ailes asked them the same question in his office.
“Turn around let me see your ass,” another woman recalled Ailes telling her in a video shared Thursday by Megyn Kelly after tfour women watched the movie together. Two other victims of harassment at Fox joined them to share their thoughts on the fictionalized drama about the scandal that upended their careers.
All four of the women said Ailes had asked them to twirl for him. Only one said she refused.
The conversation offered a rare, and very public, reflection of what victims of sexual harassment at the workplace are feeling as their #MeToo stories are adapted for the big screen and pop culture entertainment. . .
> All four women agreed the spin scene captured their experiences well. Still, they said, the film couldn’t capture the depth of their horror.
> Julie Zann (another one of the four victims) who worked as a Fox News producer and accused Ailes of sexual harassment,  said “It was worse than that, " when asked for her immediate reaction to the film. She added that the movie “really let Roger off easy.”
The report ends >
"Kelly, who rose to become the most prominent and successful woman working on-air for Fox News, teared up as she considered how speaking up in 2006 when Ailes tried to kiss her might have altered the next 10 years at the company.
“What if I had thrown myself into the fire back then?” she said to Zann, who said she experienced almost the exact same harassment as Kelly several years later.
“Maybe that wouldn’t have happened to you.”

Internal Employee Emails Reveal So Much > Why Try To Control The Public Records Requests???

At least in one instance - there are many more to get revealed - attempts by an entrenched company culture to control the mainstream media narrative to evade public scrutiny have shown that just doesn't work.
News source REUTERS reported early this morning the results when hundreds of internal emails were forced to be released by the Boeing Company after months of spoon-feeding the story they wanted out to the public.
One including in the hundreds released said the plane was “designed by clowns who in turn are supervised by monkeys”.
No doubt Boeing should get credit for disclosing what the Reuters reporter David Shepardson termed the “destructive diatribes”, . .
________________________________________________________________________
BLOGGER NOTE: That's one example for some hard-fought results of persistent  and tenacious investigative journalism.
There's more hard work ahead to keep the spotlights on in the public eye for the demands and assertions to encourage more transparency and accountability in company/corporate and government cultures.
The good fight doesn't end with just one revelation >
Here on the local level in Mesa and The State of Arizona there's plenty more stories to get told and published.

'Designed by clowns': Boeing employees ridicule 737 MAX, regulators in internal messages
David Shepardson 5-Minute Read
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Boeing Co has released hundreds of internal messages that contained harshly critical comments about the development of the 737 MAX, including one that said the plane was “designed by clowns who in turn are supervised by monkeys”.
The messages, disclosed on Thursday, show attempts to duck regulatory scrutiny with employees disparaging the plane, the company, the Federal Aviation Administration and foreign aviation regulators.

"Beautiful military equipment" do not rule the world: people do.

An eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth... and a Tweet for a Tweet!!
WHAT GETS LOST IN THE IN-BETWEEN
The Year 2020 is starting off with turbulence: "The Turbulent 2020's"
Pardon me - your MesaZona blogger - I just don't it when appeals to God and Religion from not one but three religions originating in The Middle East are turning this world into war zones everywhere. Who do we trust?

THE VIEW FROM THE OTHER SIDE: Press TV
"In a tweet on Sunday, Trump threatened that in the event of an Iranian attack on an American base or an American national, some of the “beautiful” US military equipment acquired over the past three years would be sent its way, “and without hesitation.”
In a speech that followed Iran’s retaliatory missile attacks on two US bases in Iraq, Trump boasted about the US army and military equipment.
“Our missiles are big, powerful, accurate, lethal, and fast. Under construction are many hypersonic missiles,” Trump said, although he backed down from an earlier threat of more military actions against Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif slams US President Donald Trump for constantly bragging about the size of the US military and its advanced equipment, reminding him that it is people, not “beautiful military equipment,” that rule the world.
In a post on his Twitter account on Thursday, Zarif responded to Trump, who has recently been bragging about the size of the US army and the state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment in its possession.
In a tweet on Sunday, Trump threatened that in the event of an Iranian attack on an American base or an American national, some of the “beautiful” US military equipment acquired over the past three years would be sent its way, “and without hesitation.”
The tweet came days after a US drone assassinated senior Iranian commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and a number of his companions in Iraq, for which Tehran vowed “harsh revenge” against Washington.
In response, the top Iranian diplomat downplayed Trump’s remarks, tweeting “"Beautiful military equipment" do not rule the world: people do.”
Zarif posted a link to his Tuesday interview with the CNN on the sidelines of the Tehran Dialogue Forum 2020, in which he explicitly elaborated on the US’s destructive role and notoriety in the Middle East.
“Donald Trump has to realize that the US has been fed misinformation", Zarif tweeted. “And people of our region want US out.”
In his CNN interview, which took place days after General Soleimani’s assassination, Zarif responded to a question if it was worth speaking to Trump and said, “It doesn’t need speaking. He has to realize that he has been fed misinformation. And he needs to wake up, and apologize. He has to apologize, he has to change course.”
“Has (Trump) made Americans more secure? Do Americans feel more secure, or more welcome in this region?” Zarif asked, alluding to the US huge spending on Middle East wars.
Zarif’s interview came on the same day that Iran’s Parliament unanimously passed a motion designating the Pentagon and all subsidiaries terrorist following the targeted killing by the US of General Soleimani.
Delivering on his pledge to take “harsh revenge” against the US, Iran targeted two US bases in neighboring Iraq with tens of ballistic missile, which all hit the intended targets precisely.

Ayatollah Khamenei: Iran's retaliation against US only 'a slap'
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Iran’s early Wednesday missile attack on US bases in Iraq following the American assassination of a top general was just “a slap”.
"The talk of revenge and such debates are a different issue. For now, a slap was delivered on their face last night," Ayatollah Khamenei said in remarks broadcast live on national television Wednesday.

26-Minute Podcast > Talking To Kids About Sex

Oops. Body parts have names, and using them is the first step to keeping kids safe and healthy. Image result for sex ed podcast + NPRLINK to the NPR Podcast > GO HERE https://www.npr.org
A penis is not a "hoo-hoo," and a vulva is not a "schnoodie"
For this Life Kit episode, on talking about bodies, sexuality and relationships with prepubescent children, we got schooled by Dr. Cora Breuner, who happens to be the lead author of the American Academy of Pediatrics' guidelines for clinicians on evidence-based sexuality education for children and adolescents.
The Birds And The Bees —
How To Talk To Children About Sex
> Talk about everybody right from the beginning
Even when we're keeping things brief for children, we still need to be accurate about gender identities and families that might be different from our own. Young kids need to know that not all babies have a mommy and a daddy and that not all girls have vulvas.
Breuner says research shows that when sex education is more inclusive of LGBTQ+ people, it leads to less bullying and discrimination at school.
> Sex ed isn't just about sex
Even in early childhood, parents can lay the groundwork for a better understanding of consent, desire, bodily autonomy and other social and emotional skills that will set children up for success in relationships and in life
> Kids are going to explore their bodies, and that's OK
"I love to joke that I knew that my youngest was a boy, because on the ultrasound, I saw him playing with his penis," McBride jokes. But her point is clear: Genital touching happens in the womb, and later it may well happen in your living room too. What then?
Rough suggests that parents take a deep breath and let their kids know that it's perfectly normal and actually a good thing. "We can challenge ourselves to encourage our children to enjoy living in the human bodies they were given by saying things like, 'Isn't it nice to have a body that can feel good?' "
> Don't forget the joy.
Scientific evidence supports a fact-based approach to teaching sex education,.
And one of the facts about sex that rarely gets taught or even mentioned is that it's supposed to feel good.
