Mesa In National News Again: "Lethal Lover" Jodi Arias + Premarital Sex + 2 Mormon Guys

A cross-the-line Arizona-Utah LOVE STORY that got another 'airing' on Valentine's Day in a series of interviews with friends of Travis Alexander broadcast on Front Line February 14, 2020. . . it attracted over 3 million viewers.
That was last Friday
Jodi Arias, now 37 serving time in jail for the murder of one boyfriend that jilted her after a detour to Utah to meet up with Ryan Burns, is now asking for a new trial after all these years
- it brings everything all back into the headlines and involves almost everything you can imagine including the prosecuting attorney who's now been appointed to the Arizona Supreme Court. . .
Nothing like sex, religion and murder and what may or not be a fair trial
"Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias had a brief but passionate relationship that started with Arias leaving her long-term boyfriend and ended with murder.
Religion was a factor in their relationship, as it was in many of Arias’ previous relationships.
Alexander was a devout Mormon, and Arias converted to Mormonism because of their relationship. She was baptized into the Mormon faith in November 2006, according to the Associated Press. In her previous relationships, she would routinely explore the religion of the men she was dating, she said in her testimony at trial, according to ABC News.
Despite her claim of converting to Mormonism, Alexander’s friends were wary of Arias. He acted differently with her, and seemed to have a fiery, sexual relationship with the woman, although the religion he devoted himself to strictly forbade premarital sex . . . "

Video shows Jodi Arias discussing what Mormon boyfriend wanted from marriage before she killed him
Killer Girlfriend: The Jodi Arias Story author Brian Skoloff tells how Alexander's relationship with the woman who ended up stabbing and shooting him dead was a complete contrast to what he was used to.
'She was extremely sensual and sexual and Travis very attracted to that because he was not used to that with the women he had dated in the Mormon faith before,' Skoloff says in the special. . . "

Maricopa County Supes Appoint One-of-their-Own as New Assessor

Like so many in the usual 'trademark' pioneer get-up, Gilbert Town Councilmember Eddie Cook was elected unanimously on Friday to fill-in the vacant seat of former Maricopa County Paul Peterson after his forced resignation on January 7th left the unexpired term open until the end of the year. According to a a report in Community Impact , before deciding to run for higher office, Cook said he had intended to fill his final council term, which expires in January 2023
This opportunity landed in my lap a little earlier,he said.
“Some people I know said to throw your name in the hat and see what happens. . . " Cook also said he hopes to restore public confidence in the office and create a one-team culture” in the office where team members feel valued.

The Moon is a Door to Forever

So let’s go back, eh? More spacey stuff and some recommendations below ► Enormous liberties have been taken with this one; some of the footage isn’t from Apollo 11 (the mission we chat about here), but subsequent missions to the moon. Footage was really quite difficult to find, so hopefully you can forgive me playing a little visually loose with the truth. Also the Soviet space program was barely even mentioned in the video. I’ve often thought it’s a bit sad that the Soviet Union got the first satellite into space, the first doggos (let’s not discuss it), the first man, the first woman, the first probe to the moon, the first spacewalk, and the first robot on another celestial body – yet the winner’s medal generally goes to the US for reaching the moon, and doing it so brilliantly. (Which they did, and which it was.) Not in any way meaning to discredit the US here, I’d just like to urge you to spare a thought for those other clever men and women a continent away who were – at the very same time – also taking marvellous and brave strides into space. I’ve had quite a fascination with the Apollo program over the years, and space in general. If it’s something you’re interested in too, here’s the stuff I really, really enjoyed reading and watching. (No one’s paying me for this, I just dig them. The audiobook versions are great too.) Mike Massimino - Spaceman https://www.amazon.com/Spaceman-Astro...
