Be Prepared: Trump's Scary Scenarios + His Arizona Apprentices Gosar and Biggs
The Phfreak Side-Show Circus was in Phoenix - actually two going on at the same time, one with Rudy Giuliani, joined by two right-wing nut-jobs elected to Congress Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs sitting behind him at a hotel 'news blitz' and others happening in four other states simultaneously. Here's an extended scenario from Nancy Cook reporting in Politico:
How Trump’s Hill allies could take one last shot to overturn the election
"It's deeply unlikely to succeed, but some House Republicans are weighing an effort to challenge Biden's Electoral College win.
President Donald Trump's arsenal for overturning the election will soon be down to one final, desperate maneuver: pressing his Republican allies on Capitol Hill to step in and derail Joe Biden’s presidency.
Although the Electoral College casts the official vote for president on Dec. 14, it’s up to Congress to certify the results a few weeks later. And federal law gives individual members of the House and Senate the power to challenge the results from the floor — a rarely used mechanism meant to be the last of all last resorts to safeguard an election.
But several House Republican lawmakers and aides now tell POLITICO they’re considering this option to aid Trump’s quest.
“Nothing is off the table,” said Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).
Gaetz pointed out that in January 2017, a handful of House Democrats took this precise procedural step before their efforts flamed out during a joint session of Congress presided over by none other than Biden, then the outgoing vice president.
“It is over,” Biden said at the time, gaveling down Democrats as Republicans cheered.
This time, Vice President Mike Pence will be in the chair for any potential challenges — a potentially awkward scenario as his boss continues to deny the reality of the election he lost.
Indeed, Trump lost the election. His legal battles have failed to stop states from certifying his defeat. And his bid to pressure state legislators to overturn Biden’s victory appears to be going nowhere. Congress — where Republicans are still largely in lockstep with Trump — is the last institution that could be a factor.
Here’s how Trump’s defenders in Congress may take a final shot at subverting the election, who might carry Trump’s mantle and why it’s almost certain to be more of a spectacle than a solution for Trump.
How congressional challenges work
The framers declared that the presidential election isn’t official until lawmakers certify the winner. The voters, on Nov. 3, picked 306 electors for Biden and 232 for Trump. Those electors will cast their formal votes for president on Dec. 14.
An obscure 1887 law called the Electoral Count Act, and several subsequent updates, spell out the process, setting Jan. 6 after a presidential election as the official certification date and outlining vague, complicated procedures. . .
PLEASE NOTE: Other GOP lawmakers who might be friendly to the idea include Arizona Reps. Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs and David Schweikert, who all belong to the Freedom Caucus.
The trio signed a letter urging the state’s largest county, Maricopa, to delay certification of the presidential election results until an audit is conducted. The Maricopa County board of supervisors rejected their request and certified the results on Nov. 20.
“There have been some issues raised about the integrity of some of our election systems within the state,” Biggs said in a statement. “Let’s leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of accountability and transparency.”
Biggs and Gosar sat behind Trump’s legal team Monday at a hearing of GOP state legislatures meant to amplify the campaign’s allegations of voter fraud.
It’s unclear if such House Republicans would have the blessing of leadership. Aides to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy did not return a request for comment.

HERE'S A REALITY CHECK DAYS BEFORE THAT'S AN IMPORTANT BELIEVE-ABLE COUNTERMESSAGE TO EVERYTHING WRONGLY ASSERTED AT THAT HOTEL EVENT
Fact check: Dominion is not linked to Smartmatic, Antifa or Venezuela, did not switch U.S. 2020 election votes in Virginia and was not subject to a U.S. army raid in Germany
Social media users have been sharing a video, which makes several untrue claims to undermine electronic voting software companies Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic in order to allege voter fraud in the November 2020 U.S. presidential election. The video alleges that Dominion is linked to Smartmatic; that the founders of Dominion and Smartmatic are linked to the left-leaning, decentralized, anti-fascist political movement Antifa and to Venezuela; that Dominion offices in Germany were raided; and that Dominion switched votes in Virginia. However, Reuters has examined these key claims and found they are not supported by facts.
The video (here , here) from the Tom Laipply Podcast is captioned : “DOMINION SOFTWARE IS A FAR LEFT ANTIFA SUPPORTING COMPANY THAT WAS USED IN 30 STATES. WE THE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THIS WAS A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION!?”
CHUM Pods: Grant Pearce - A 5th-Generation Arizonan - Finds A Way To Fulfill A Biblical Sermon: Teaching Others How-to-Fish
"Pods" mean different things to different things to different people that's for sure. But this streaming report from Arizona Family News ABC15 takes off with way too much information. . Prototypes made in his garage following a revelation in the laundry room!

Walmart picks up Mesa man's invention to sell nationwide
MESA, AZ — Grant Pearce is a 5th generation Arizonan who spends a lot of time by the water. "I've been fishing my whole life, probably caught my first fish at the age of three or four," Pearce said.
He turned that love for fish into a career, working full time as a fisheries biologist. He also enjoys teaching others how to fish, but says he noticed a common problem.
"There's nothing worse than trying to help a kid or an adult catch their first fish and they go to the lake and they don't have that experience where they get a bite and they get that experience of actually catching a fish," he said.
Pearce says while using a laundry pod to do his laundry, he came up with an idea. By putting bait inside of water-soluble pods, he created ChumPODS.
Video he provided shows how the pod dissolves in the water and the bait spills out, surrounding the hook, making fish more likely to notice it. Pearce says he started making prototypes in his garage.
"I would just start giving them away to fishermen, people I knew would come to the lake and use them," Pearce said.
He even landed a call with Walmart executives through their program called Walmart Open Call, where the company invites entrepreneurs to pitch their product in hopes of getting it on their shelves.
But that big meeting was almost interrupted when Pearce says his wife, who was expecting their first child, almost went into labor. . ."

Arizona cites holiday reporting delays for record 10K cases
PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona on Tuesday reported over 10,000 new known coronavirus cases, but the state said the record number nearly three times the latest seven-day daily rolling average reflected not only the current surge but also delayed reporting by local health officials due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
“Today, the number of new cases reported is up significantly from what has been reported in the past. This large number of newly reported cases is a result of the extended four-day weekend," the state health director said. . . Christ wrote in a blog post that the long weekend meant “classification was delayed for a large portion of cases, resulting in much higher numbers than usual."
Economic Forecast 2021 > Erratic Recovery
Recovery to be erratic, Emerging stocks to rise in 2021: Invesco
(Reuters) - A recovery from the pandemic will be erratic but loose monetary policy around the world and vaccine optimism would keep risk assets supported, a global markets strategist at Invesco said on Wednesday.
Asia-Pacific equities, specifically markets in Greater China and North Asia, are expected to rise on COVID-19 containment measures, a rebound in economic activity and increased capital expenditure from the 5G rollout, David Chao, global markets strategist for Asia Pacific at Invesco, told the Reuters Global Markets Forum.
“I am very much overweight equities over fixed income... 2021 could be a great year for emerging market (EM) stocks,” Chao said at the Reuters Global Investment Outlook Summit, 2021.
Stock markets in the United States are expected to go through a period of correction, Chao said, adding that a broader rotation into value and cyclical stocks in the near-term was likely.
“From a fundamental standpoint, widespread inoculation will fuel a pickup in global demand, which should see cyclicals and value stocks rally relative to growth,” he said.
From a valuation perspective, Chao said, the disparity between value stocks, at 17 times price-to-earnings (P-E), and growth stocks, at 38 times P-E, was greater than the early-2000 record.
“For a continued rally of value stocks, there needs to be economic growth, higher inflation, rising bond yields and improved corporate earnings, which will hinge on a vaccine being approved and available to the public,” he added.
Chao expected the U.S. dollar to weaken in the first half of 2021 due to ample liquidity from the Federal Reserve’s ultra-loose monetary policies and additional fiscal stimulus measures.
For those same reasons and as a vaccine becomes available, Chao said inflation could “finally start to rear its head” in the second half of 2021.
“There will be a day of reckoning ... and the first sign will be inflation and then credit defaults. However, that day isn’t on the horizon just yet,” he said, while adding that those policies are needed globally to ensure the pandemic doesn’t cause permanent economic damage.
