Discord, one of the most popular instant messengers not only for players, is facing a data security breach, which the application informs users about. Unfortunately, the account of one of the company’s representatives was hacked.

Discord is Teamspeak’s main competitor in the gaming messaging market, with which it’s hard not to be impressed, wins. It is a good tool not only for communication while playing, but also for spending time together thanks to the better possibilities it gives, e.g. the option of live streaming or the possibility of setting up your own server for free. Unfortunately, there has been a data security breach, as reported by the platform itself. The data leak occurred due to an account belonging to an external Discord support agent. The leak includes support tickets that include users’ email addresses, messages exchanged with Discord support, and any attachments sent as part of the tickets.
