Humpty-Dumpty... one can’t help but wonder: what does this mean?

 Ultimate Conclusions: “Humpty Dumpty” remains one of the most famous nursery rhymes ever. Because it’s short, it’s fun and it’s concise, largely.

But also because it’s mysterious. 

Reciting the rhyme, one can’t help but wonder: what does this mean?

Perhaps it’s a metaphor for things breaking. Once an egg is shattered this is no putting it back together, not for you, not for the king’s men.

Or, maybe, more than a metaphor for a shattered vase, it’s a reference to a fallen king or monarch. 

Once a leader falls, there is no going back.

Another theory is that a “Humpty Dumpty” was a slang term for a cannon that was managed to get atop a tower wall and fire down below. 

Really, though, it could mean anything. 

A cannon, a king, an egg, a vase, a short person, a drink, an idea.

In the end, that’s the point. Humpty Dumpty can be anything.

Even us.

The nursery rhyme was first recorded in England in the late 18th Century. . .The lyrics then refer to the kings men - the royalist supporters in support of King Charles I - being unable to fix the canon. However, it is believed that 19th Century author Lewis Caroll was the first to depict Humpty Dumpty as an egg in his 1871 book Through the Looking-Glass.And since then, Humpty Dumpty as an egg has been the prevailing view

Bizarre statements and Donald Trump campaign rallies typically go hand in hand, but the former president served up a rant so strange on Sunday it likely raised eyebrows among even the most ardent MAGA supporters. Speaking in Iowa about electric cars, Trump declared he’d rather be electrocuted than eaten by a shark if he was in a shipwreck caused by an electric boat engine—clearly bewildering the audience, which was largely mum. “If I’m sitting down and that boat’s going down and I’m on top of a battery, and the water starts flooding in, I’m getting concerned,” Trump said. “But then I look 10 yards to my left and there’s a shark over there. So I have a choice of electrocution or a shark—you know what I’m going to take? Electrocution. I will take electrocution every single time. Do we agree?” The head-scratching comment was one of many in Sunday’s rally, in which Trump repeatedly touted his administration’s approval of year-round E-15 gasoline and railed against electric vehicles.

Trump Attacks Judge in Fraud Case in 1 AM Rant — HOURS Before Appearing in Court

Former President Donald Trump is taking a unique approach to handling a judgment against his company by publicly attacking the Judge who ruled against him.

On Tuesday of last week, Judge Arthur Engoron of the Supreme Court 1st Judicial District in New York ruled that Trump and his company committed fraud in a significant development in the civil case of New York Attorney General Letitia James. That suit seeks, among other things, to impose a $250 million penalty on Trump and his company.

The decision has raised serious questions about what this means practically for the Trump Organization. Without a business certificate, they can no longer operate in the state of New York.

Trump announced on social media he would go to court on Monday to “fight for my name and reputation against a corrupt and racist Attorney General, Letitia James. Trump wrote:

I’m going to Court tomorrow morning to fight for my name and reputation against a corrupt and racist Attorney General, Letitia James, who campaigned on “getting Trump,” and a Trump Hating Judge who is unfair, unhinged, and vicious in his PURSUIT of me. He values Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, at 18 Million Dollars, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. His valuations are FRAUDULENT in pursuit of Election Interference, and worse. THIS WHOLE CASE IS A SHAM!!! See you in Court – Monday morning.

He then pivoted to Judge Engoron:

The judge, Arthur Engoron, refuses to accept our big win in the Court of Appeals, nullifying much of the case that the racist Attorney General of New York, Letitia James, has charged us with. Nobody can believe it!

Finally, he called for Engoron to resign “from the ‘Bench’ and be sanctioned by the Courts for his abuse of power, and his intentional and criminal interference with the Presidential Election of 2024.”

Judge Engoron’s Valuation of Mar-a-Lago, the most spectacular property in Palm Beach, Florida, IS FRAUDULENT! He states a value of 18 Million Dollars, knowing full well that it is worth, perhaps, 50 to 100 times that amount. Engoron is working diligently to misrepresent me, and my net worth, which is substantially MORE than is shown on my fully “disclaimed” Financial Statements. I have not even included my most valuable asset – BRAND! He should resign from the “Bench” and be sanctioned by the Courts for his abuse of power, and his intentional and criminal interference with the Presidential Election of 2024, of which I am leading all candidates, both Republican & Democrat, by significant margins. Likewise, Letitia James should resign for purposeful and criminal Election Interference. She is fully aware that Mar-a-Lago, and other assets, are worth much more than what she is claiming. Both of these Democrat Operatives are a disgrace to New York, and to the United States of America!

There is some irony in Trump’s claim that Mar-a-Lago is “50 to 100 times” the 18 million dollar valuation that the judge stated in a case surrounding fraudulent evaluations, but here we are.

Trump’s attacks come in light of Special Counsel Jack Smith submiting a new filing in support of his proposed gag order against ex-President Donald Trump, citing his rant about executing Gen. Mark Milley and his attacks on people like the judge in the case, Federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan.

Two weeks ago, Smith’s team filed a motion for a limited gag order, but late Friday, a new motion in support of that proposed order responded to opposition from Trump attorneys and cited a raft of more recent events to underscore the urgency — including his now-infamous remarks about General Mark Milley.
