The new weekend programming begins Saturday, Sept. 20
Heinrich and Doocy, Fox News' senior White House correspondents, are set to rotate as the weekly hosts of a brand-new morning show,The Sunday Briefing,which will take the place ofMediaBuzzwith Howie Kurtz.
Set to debut on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. ET, the new show will "tackle all facets of the White House beat, including the President of the United States’ national and international moves as well as the key issues impacting the administration."
Kurtz, meanwhile, will transition to a political media analyst role on the network. He said in a statement, "I’m extraordinarily proud of the program, which was number one for over 12 years and built a loyal audience that liked our down-the-middle approach of contrasting viewpoints and tackling sensitive subjects, with great independence, but time marches on."
In announcing the transition, Fox News Media president & editor-in-chief Jay Wallace said, “As we expand and innovate our weekend programming, we are proud to bring our audience unrivaled depth and expertise."
"This new dynamic roster underscores our continued commitment to delivering incomparable coverage, reinforcing Fox News Media as the leader in both news and opinion content," he continued. "For more than a decade, Howie Kurtz has served as the lead authority for media coverage in cable news and we look forward to continuing his smart analysis across our programming.”

Elsewhere,Outnumberedhost and former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany will also take on her own new show,Saturday in America,which will air from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on Saturdays.
McEnany will remain onOutnumberedwhile also hosting the new weekend program, which will "provide a comprehensive look at the headlines dominating the news cycle" through conversations with politicians and newsmakers.
Additionally, national correspondent Griff Jenkins will take his place on theFox & Friendscouch as a third weekend co-host alongside Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hurt.Fox & Friendsairs on Saturdays and Sundays from 6-10 a.m. ET.
The Big Weekend Showwill also be expanding to three hours, airing Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 8 p.m. Johnny Joey Jones and Tomi Lahren have been named two of the four co-hosts on the show's new panel, and will be joined by two rotating guests each week.
The new weekend lineup will begin airing on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Heinrich and Doocy's new show comes during an exciting personal time for each of the anchors.
