Days after Israel confirmed killing Houthi military chief Muhammed al-Ghamari, chaos erupted in the Red Sea. 
A missile reportedly struck a Cameroon-flagged tanker near Yemen’s Aden port, igniting a massive fire and forcing crew evacuation. 
  • Maritime agencies said the projectile’s origin remains under investigation. 
The Houthis, who vowed “deterrent punishment” against Israel following Ghamari’s death, have not yet claimed responsibility. 
 
  • The strike marks a dangerous escalation in regional tensions — coming just as Gaza ceasefire efforts gain traction and fears grow of a wider Middle East confrontation.
