Andy Biggs Blames McCarthy for Lack of Budget As Shutdown Looms
On the War Room podcast Monday, Republican Representative Andy Biggs of Arizona blamed Kevin McCarthy for not having a budget in place as a government shutdown looms:
“It’s a clear breach on the part of Mr. McCarthy. He’s going to come through and say, ‘Well, you know, the Appropriations Committee didn’t get it done.’ They didn’t get it done because he didn’t lead. They had 9 months to get this done, Steve. They should have had this done the end of June and got it over to the Senate. The Senate could have had 2 months to figure it out. Then you have another month for conference committee. Then you deliver your goods. They didn’t deliver the goods and now he wants what we call a ‘clean CR.’ …He’s blown it, and he should he held accountable for that.”
Thank you, Rep. Andy Biggs for letting us know that Kevin McCarthy’s leadership is to blame for the lack of a budget ahead of the looming Republican government shutdown.
Rep. Andy Biggs: Biden Doesn’t Actually Understand Any Of The Policies Taking Place Around Him
Arizona Republican Congressman Andy Biggs joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how the U.S. continues to get taken advantage of on the world stage thanks to President Biden’s weak leadership.
“Speaking of no respect, that’s where the U.S. is today under Joe Biden. And look, under Donald Trump, they either respected him or feared him. And what that did is that made for a much more stable international world. Iran was under control. China was mostly under control. They have their problems still. North Korea was discombobulated. Russia would never have gone after Ukraine. You actually had African states that were much more stable because of their concern about Donald Trump. The point being, when Trump made America first the mantra, the world believed him and they had a certain amount of either fear or respect or bewilderment. But all three led to the same thing, a lack of action by the world’s biggest, nastiest actors. And under Biden, everybody’s pushing us around.”
Rep. Biggs also explains why the Biden administration’s green energy agenda is unrealistic. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
