A rambling Donald Trump was no match for producers at Fox News, who cut away from the former president during a lengthy rebuttal to Kamala Harris' acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.
Trump's rebuttal on the network touched on his familiar talking points: denying he had anything to do with Project 2025, railing against Harris as a failed border czar and baselessly accusing her of being a Marxist.
The stream of commentary — which was filled with beeps from his phone — appeared to become too much for the network. As Trump railed that Democrats tossed President Joe Biden "out of the party," hosts Bret Baier and Marth MacCallum tried to interject.
"Mr. President — " attempted Baier.

Undeterred, Trump continued, and MacCallum tried to cut in, saying"And that's why we saw a different vibe tonight."
Baier and MacCallum then echoed one another:
"Mr. President, thank you so much for the time, we appreciate that live feedback."
- MacCallum tossed it over to host Greg Gutfeld on "Gutfeld!" who began his show with a bit of humor.
