The US and China are locked in a battle for tech supremacy, and it’s set to be a major challenge for Donald Trump. Years of tariffs, export controls and financial sanctions have done little to slow Xi Jinping’s quest for dominance. China has become a world leader in industries like electric vehicles and solar power, and it's catching up in others.
